One Democrat is displaying an unusual amount of optimism given his poor circumstances.
Disgraced former congressman Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner has been released from the halfway house he has been residing in following the completion of his sentence.
“It’s good to be out,” a beaming Weiner said. “I hope to be able to live a life of integrity and service. I’m glad this chapter of my life is behind me.”
However Weiner’s mistakes are far from forgotten. The Democrat is no registered as a level 1 sex offender for sending “obscene” sexually explicit messages to a 15-year-old girl from North Carolina.
His political career destroyed, his marriage dissolving and his finances in disarray, it’s a mystery what Wiener plans to do now.
