An incendiary incident has taken place in the nation’s capital.
In the late afternoon a man lit himself on fire in close proximity to the White House according to the secret service.
The terrifying spectacle took place at roughly 12:20 p.m. on the Ellipse in downtown Washington, also known as “President’s Park.”
Secret Service spokesman Jeffrey Adams remarked on the matter stating that agency officers “responded in seconds” and managed to extinguish the living fire.
The individual has been transported to the hospital, further news on his condition has yet to be released.
That is why the country needs mental hospitals. These poor ill people have no where go but the streets. Who’s bright idea was to close these hospitals?. Truth!.
There is, or at least used to be one, in Kalamazoo Michigan. My daughter was in there for 6 months. They listened to everything she said which was a total pack of lies. Those hospitals did more damage to the patients than they helped. She was a teenager at the time and when she got out, they wanted to send her to Grand Rapids to a half way house. NO locked doors and she would have been able to walk the streets all day and all night. They wouldn’t listen to me. She told them she took around 100 ibuprofen.which she didn’t. Her stomach was pumped at the local hospital and there was nothing there. That many ibuprofen would have caused severe internal bleeding and the mental hospital didn’t even know that. They blamed me and siad next time she might succeed. There was no suicide attempt. They listened to the nut case and not those who are in their right mind. Local hospitals have a wing for people who are mentally disturbed and they do a much better job at taking care of them.
SORRY FOR YOUR TROUBLES..YES ITS ALL TO TRUE! YOU NEED TO SUE! GET A LAWYER, U DO NOT NEED MONEY, HELL TAKE A % OF WHAT U GET~
Having no information other than that he set himself on fire I cannot comment as to motive or mentality. For anyone to deflogistonicate themselves they must have come to some conclusion that was a best option based on whatever information and options they thought they had at the time. I am reminded of Thich Quang Duc who, no doubt, had good intentions and was not considered to be mentally ill. He sat calmly as he went up in flames. An amazing example of determination.
At least he didn’t use a gun or we would be hearing about that for a month.
