What in the world is Fox doing?
Fox News recently announced that former South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy has been “terminated.”
Gowdy’s immediate firing is the result of his recent agreement to help the White House fight the Democrats impeachment inquiry against President Trump. Fox initially hired the former representative as an on-air contributor.
“Trey Gowdy has been terminated and is no longer a contributor,” a Fox News spokesperson said.

Gowdy is best known for having led the investigations into the 2012 Benghazi terrorist, and also having supported inquiries into Hillary Clinton.
Gowdy chose not to run for reelection in the 2018 midterms serving nearly a decade in the House.
“Whatever skills I may have are better utilized in a courtroom than in Congress, and I enjoy our justice system more than our political system,” Gowdy stated in 2018, according to Bloomberg.
