It was about time she was put in her place.
According to Fox News, Sen. Tim Scott slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stating her remark that the GOP of “trying to get away with … the murder of George Floyd” was “the most outrageous, sinful comment I’ve heard as a public official.”
Scott told Fox News host Guy Benson: “I thought to myself, ‘How in the world does this woman, standing in front of a $24,000 refrigerator, have the sense to jump into the bottomless pit of race politics? Why in the world would she want to do that?’
“There’s only one answer, by the way, one answer,” Scott continued. “It’s because she’s lived so long in a state of privilege that she has forgotten that it’s the Republican Party that voted more for the Civil Rights-era legislation than the Democrats.”
“She has forgotten so much about reality that she spends too much time in an alternate universe. But the facts are simple,” Scott added. “Why in the world would she stoop so low? And it’s simply this: They believe — and I truly believe this — they believe that campaigning on police brutality is more important than solving police reform.” You can read the full article here.
Well, if there is anyone out there that claims allegiance to this woman merely because she is a Democrat let them suffer the consequences of that misplaced loyalty. This career politician has got to go and should have been gone 20 years ago. She is a despicable, self-serving megalomaniac that has destroyed bi-partisan political cooperation within Congress. The latest example, her put-down of President Trump’s plan for Police Reform which was comprehensive and addressed the real issues of reform, not defunding the police.
Those who want all this to stop had better head the message; legislation for mandated “TERM LIMITS” is the golden ticket to stopping all the past and present turmoil the career politicians now residing in Congress have authored and perpetuated.
“TERM LIMITS” is the positive answer to stopping a career built on the backs of the American voter who naively believed that their elected Congressional member cared a “ding-dong” about what their constituents wanted and needed.
Senate 6 years House 4 years and done, can never again hold federal political positions
The Supreme Court Justice appointments as well as appointments have become politicized. SC 10 Years and done, cannot ever hold any other federal judicial appointment
Term Limits take away power, career building, political influence, personal wealth built on the backs of tax payers and all the rest of the personal gains and influence a career in Congress avails the career politician.
WE MUST STAND TOGETHER AND MAKE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HEAR OUR DEMAND for “TERM LIMITS” and mandate they do not let the “TERM LIMIT” legislation die in Committee as it has over the past 30 years. Make them hear the message loud and clear!
david i am with what u said. because we do not want all the crap going on and all the do is lie, cheat, still and dont do what they are suppose to do
